Police Officers with PTSD

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a very real problem that sadly many police officers are facing. Now a days many people seem unaffected by the loss of a police officer unless they are killed in the line of duty.  Almost weekly, while I am on Facebook, I see a post about the death of an officer. The most common cause of death that I see, is suicide because the officer was battling PTSD. In one of my articles I found a news paper report of a dispatcher in Canada who had PTSD from sending an officer on a call where the officer was injured.  With people complaining that police officers need to stop and go away, I wasnt to show that they are people to and can battle PTSD. This is why I am going to research the different way to help officers with PTSD.
